Ashlyn is an Atlanta native, attending Furman University where she majored in Psychology. Ashlyn developed a love for helping others when living in India with Rahab’s Rope working with victims of sex trafficking. Ashlyn earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) and certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Georgia. Additionally, she completed internships at Dekalb Medical and Skyland Trail where she conducted individual and group therapy with young adults and adults facing a wide variety of issues.

Ashlyn then began her work in private practice where she led groups and conducted individual therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. 

Ashlyn is available for speaking engagements, including workshops and seminars, to professional organizations, churches, schools, and special interest groups.

Ashlyn enjoys working with parents, couples, families and clients of
all ages to find freedom from difficult emotions and the behaviors that
accompany them. Ashlyn believes that there is more to life than merely
surviving and wants to help her clients achieve this.
