She received her Bachelors in Psychology from Furman University and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Georgia. Additionally, Ashlyn completed the Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy at University of Georgia.

Ashlyn is an Atlanta native, attending Furman University where she majored in Psychology. Ashlyn developed a love for helping others when living in India with Rahab’s Rope working with victims of sex trafficking. Ashlyn earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) and certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Georgia. Additionally, she completed internships at Dekalb Medical and Skyland Trail where she conducted individual and group therapy with young adults and adults facing a wide variety of issues.

She enjoys working with clients of all ages as they navigate the daily challenges of life. Ashlyn works with child, adolescent and adult clients in learning the skills necessary to manage anxiety, depression, OCD, ADD/ADHD, intense emotions, and difficult relationships. Ashlyn is passionate about working with parents and families of children because of the impact that change within a family system can have. She believes that the key to healthy adults is helping children and adolescents learn effective coping in life’s challenges.
